Since he was a young boy, Philip has had an interest in the destructive forces facing the environment. This interest along with sport ultimately led him into practicing law. He grew up in North Wales and spent much of his time in Snowdonia and surrounding areas (and still does when he can).
After secondary school, he completed a diploma in Environmental Science at the Welsh College of Horticulture. He then went on to study flora and fauna in the southern rainforests of Trinidad while completing his degree in Environmental Biology and Geography at the University of Liverpool.
As a teenager, Philip competed at the highest level in full contact Martial Arts. He became an international promoter and internationally recognised trainer, with many of his fighters going on to become world champions. He was one of the youngest professional promoters, and has been involved in some of the biggest contests in the world.
Clients often find themselves in difficult situations, which may need fighting or diffusing in or out of court. Either option is available, and both are supported by guidance concerning the law and tactical advice to obtain the best possible outcome.
For more than ten years, Philip has been a specialist civil practitioner. He has always practiced from London since 2006 to the present day and retained his interest in Environmental Law throughout.
Philip is a busy leading junior and takes his sporting competitiveness, preparation, and determination with him to the courts and tribunals he appears before on behalf of his clients. Many of his clients are high net worth individuals, some of the most successful people in their fields, and high-profile media personalities.
He has worked with and against some of the most eminent QC’s, appearing before various tribunals as well as courts. He has appeared in the Court of Appeal as a led junior, sole counsel, as well as lead counsel. He has also argued successfully in novel areas of law and on some of the leading legal authorities in recent years.
